Segmentation fault when using audio

Postby bagpussnz » 12 Jul 2009 07:00

Hi,
vlc 1.0 on Ubuntu 9.04
On my machine, if I play anything (video/audio) in vlc I get a segmentation fault when I stop the playback.

If I start vlc with --no-audio it doesn't crash (but is fairly useless).
It's ok on a 9.04 machine with default pulseaudio. On my machine I ditched pulse and reverted to alsa (as pulse was driving me crazy).

I've set audio output to alsa - but still crashes. Any ideas?

Ian.
