True, but you have to open the IFO file manually. In fact that’s what I do now. I open the primary IFO file and jump around (especially to chapter breaks) and can easily compare frames without VLC’s massive hassle. It is so much quicker now. Of course I still use VLC to watch videos since the viewing controls (normal seeking) are better than in MPC (even after I configured them to be about the same).MPC supports DVD.
I already do, but they too must parse the entire VOB file.If you want to use DVD with Virtualdub, then use Virtualdubmod or Virtualdub-MPEG2.
