docs

Postby perkhouse » 05 Jul 2009 17:53

Any idea when (all) the docs will be updated?

I for one really appreciate all the hard work put into the project, but I think it would be a wiser use of time to be working on the docs instead of the forums, answering the same questions over and over.

I think documentation for web plugins are very up to date. Here they are:
- Documentation:WebPlugin (the reference)
- ActiveX/HTML (maybe a bit outdated, don't know)
- ActiveX (maybe a bit outdated, don't know)
- HowTo_Integrate_VLC_plugin_in_your_webpage

The test.html page can help newbies to use VLC:
http://git.videolan.org/?p=vlc.git;a=bl ... d0;hb=HEAD

And quite many samples are spread in this forum.

Of course you can contribute, at least on the discussion page of the documentation to give uncovered things you think relevant to add.

Emm, sorry. I thought I was reading the "web Plugin and scripting" section, so my previous post is a bit offtopic.
