Hotkeys function unreliable

Postby user1234 » 02 Jul 2009 03:48

Just reconfigured the normal hotkeys. After saving I've tried them out and only 50% were working.
Some didn't work at all, others with the old function. Restarting VLC solved most of the problems,
but the 'm'-key sticked to 'mute' instead of reacting as intended and displayed in config.

2nd problem I've noticed: 'force subtitle position' shows a similar misbehaviour( also previous version ~0.97)
Changing the position doesn't work after 'save options', the dvd has to be restarted or even
vlc has to be restarted for settings to take effect.

Can anybody reproduce this behaviour?

Tested with VLC-1.0rc4-Qt4 Interface, Ubuntu 9.04

Many of vlc's option require a restart of the media, or even the entire player. It has always been that way, it is not a 1.0.0 specific issue.
Don't use PMs for support questions.
