VLC 1.0.0 RC4 and any later nightly and 1.1-git nightlies crash on startup. Removing preferences didn't help.

I have the same problem when I try to use 1.0.0-rc4 intel-64 on mac os x 10.6

Just to get this clear:

VLC does not work for anyone using this seed regardless of the build version or flavour.

Revert back to previous seeds or wait for the next one please. There is little we could do about this for now. You can follow the progress on this matter with trac ticket #2905.
