Changing RTSP cache time

Is it possible to dynamically change the RTSP caching value?
I experimented a bit (set the RTSP caching value using Preferences >.......) - it looked like the new caching value took effect only after a stop & play.
I was a bit confused since I am allowed to change the value when a stream is playing.

You need to restart the item to change the value.
