http streaming background noise

Postby herlit11 » 18 Jun 2009 22:59

Hello everyone, i am streaming a tv capture using http and h264 over my network. Using 0.9.9a Grishenko and Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty.

I get the feed with vlc from a client machine and see the video and audio
in sync. The thing is that the audio has a lot of background noise(simliar to a frying pan).

Any idea if there is a sound filter available to vlc?

I tried the same config with vlc under windows xp and it works with no sound problems( using MPEG2)

Ideas, thank in advance,regards
