MKV audio track causes player to hang.

Postby navysealltblue » 13 Jun 2009 11:18

As of right now, I am pretty sure of the cause, but I will go through the whole process just in case I was wrong.

So I was watching a mkv with the audio track set to Japanese. When the media reached one second from the end, the program stopped working and I had to forcibly quit the program. However, when language was set to English, it didn't exhibit the program hang. I am assuming that it is possible that this is the case for all non English languages, but cannot say because I don't have mkvs with any additional languages.

The audio language track seems to be the cause, but like I said, that's just based on what I have seen so far.

WinXP SP3, rc2 and 3 (didn't test with rc1)
and yes, I will upload several samples...
Is there a particular hosting method you'd prefer? They are roughly 200-300 megs in size.
