1.0.0-rc3 and the keyboard media controls

G'day - 1.0.0-rc3 responds to the back, play/pause and forward buttons on my keyboard regardless of whether VLC is in focus This causes huge problems if I leave a video halfway through and then use iTunes which I expect to be the only app that will ever respond to the KB media keys without being front and centre, as it were. It also means if I open, say QT Player and use the KB media keys to control it (and this only works while QT Player is in focus - as it should) that I'm now controlling two videos

Anyway - what version should I revert to to get rid of this bug? It had been a while since I updated, so I'm unsure how far to regress.

Download 0.9.9a. I don't think that has media accesskey support. But i'm not sure either.

No, VLC 1.0 was feature complete at the day of report. A fix will be included in version 1.0.1. Unti then, get VLC 0.9.9a, which doesn't include media key support.
