Bug: audio/video problems with RV30 real media

Postby Kevin Ar18 » 09 Jun 2009 16:57

Summary:
the latest versions of VLC (1.0+) have audio problems with real media files.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use VLC 1.0 or even the latest nightly: vlc-1.1.0-git-20090525-2206-win32
2. Play a video from this site: http://webcast.berkeley.edu/course_deta ... 1906978278

Result:
the audio is garbled/screeching; you cannot understand anything.

Notes: VLC 0.9 had good audio, but no video.... VLC 1.0 has video, but breaks audio.

Have you tried new 1.1.0 nightly builds?
