How to convert Main Profile to Baseline Profile?

Dear friend,
I use VLC media player convert example.mpg to example.ts file,which uses h264 and mp3 encoder,After finishing converting it, I use Elecard Stream Analyzer software to analyse converted file.I found the h264 file attribute is always Main Profile, can you help me to convert Main Profile to Baseline Profile,thank you very much!

for vlc you need to specify no-cabac and b-frames=0 to get baseline profile, as cabac is default on.
