Another problem with the VLC 0.9.9

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

Another problem with the VLC 0.9.9

Postby vilapupu » 03 Jun 2009 00:53

Well, I already said one. Just want to say another one.
When hearing like a radio url (mp3 streaming), then I have to press Pause if I want to get the Song Playing from the radio. if I do not press anything and the internet radio changes music, then it will say the same song as before.
just saying about this bug. Ill try the new one since the 0.9.9 does not work the video sub filter thing.

I'm unable to deduce where your problem is. Please try to explain again.

OK. well, if you try to put for Example this Link that is a mp3 internet radio, then down the big Pause/Play button, there is a part were it says the file, right? Well, it just say the radio station (in this case it will say " Toon Radio ") and I would have to press the Pause/Play button so the title of the song playing to appear. Then when it changes to another song, I would have to do the same thing; to press the Pause/Play button so the new title song appears. hope you can understand the problem better. also remember I found this in the 0.9.9 version (normal version)

Yes. Known bug. Fixed in 1.0.0-rc2.

Oh. OK. thanks. ^_^
I don't know why the main site has the 0.9.9 version to download if it has many bugs even bugs that were not in the older version (updated sometime now from 0.8 version or somewhere in there, can't remember). Anyways, thanks. Ill download other newest one.

Because software is not perfect and neither is development effort.
