taskbar when fullscreen

How to display the taskbar when viewing in fullscreen, I don't have this problem before & I don't know what have I do wrong.

I have had this problem once too.
And started to use later builds.

Check under pulldown menu: Tools, Preferences, Interface Settings,
if 'show a controller in full screen' is enabled.
If yes, and it doesn't work out right, uninstall VLC player, reboot your PC, unpack
or re-install again.
Really, this should solve things already.

If not, do the same again, but try a registry cleaner first after uninstall,
or have a look to clean possible 'vlc' entries with 'regedt.exe' yourself.

Edit: I found in the mean time how (the Reset shortcut in the program menu), but it doesn't help.

No. Delete %appdata%/vlc folder.

It's Ok now (for Vista, the to be deleted vlc folder is located in the roaming folder within the hidden appdata folder ) .
