Postby tunczyk » 22 May 2009 14:49

Hello. I know English poorly. I have a question about whether someone has already used VLC this http://www.sysresccd.org OS (gentoo packages). It depends on my opinion - in this case specifically. Whether or not to compile? Xorg-server is v. 1.5.3 The desktop environment is now xfc

if you can not find precompiled gentoo package you have to do this for yourself ... but with should vlc on a system rescue disk ?
You can also use linux systems like knoppix, sidux or like this with transparent writeable live filesystems. On these OSses you can start from CD/USB and install vlc from inet repos on the fly.
scarcely you do it right it works ...
Greetings, rh
