0.6.2 OS X no FLAC playback?

For some reason 0.6.2 attempts to play, then skips over FLAC files that played fine under 0.6.1. Files were created with MacFLAC or FLACer. This happens on both 10.2 and 10.3. Is this a known problem? I can downgrade to 0.6.1, however AAC playback is a little buggy there. It's a give and take. Anyone have any suggestions for a different setting (everything is currently default though I've experimented a bit earlier under Jaguar without success) to get FLAC playback?

Thanks. 0.7 seems to clear up FLAC playback and AAC/MPA speed issues.

I did a vlc --list on Mac OS X 0.7.0-test1 and the flac stuff is there, but it isn't on the Mac OS X 0.7.0 release...

Yeah, apparently Meeuh AGAIN used the wrong line to compile VLC so it AGAIN doesn't have FLac working. A new binary will probably be put online soon to fix this problem.

Redownload 0.7.0 image.
It now has flac support
