Looks like something strange in the video stream.
Which version of VLC are you using ?
And please post a sample of this video.

VLC media player 0.9.8a Grishenko
Compiler gcc version 4.2.1-sliji

I could post a sample but the audio codec wouldn't be the same because I have no prog that cuts AC-3 audio. Should I still post it?
Also I can hear sound but have no video. The sound sounds crappy though.

This SUPER program is producing not standard files.

No post a cut of the original video that is the cause of troubles because we need to look at the original header.

Use DGsplit and read here how to do it:

For an AVI file 5 MB should be enough though.

There is no FourCC indication for the video stream in this file, so the players have no way to know which decoder to use.

I don't know how it works on the Xbox but every player I've tried on Windows just failed to play the video, GSpot reports the video codec as "Unknown" and MediaInfo just doesn't report any type of video format at all.
According to the user data it seems that Mencoder as been used at one stage of the encoding but maybe without the FourCC parameter. So either Super is not using it or you forgot to set it in the options before encoding.

At this point your only choice is to reencode the file.
I would suggest to use AviDemux for your encodings as it quite simple to use and will create fully compliant files.

Ah well ok. I thought it would be a VLC issue ir something i´m sorry but I am new to this. But in the SUPER I can choose between Encoders. But there is only FFmpeg and MEncoder. Both of them give me the same result. Also I ticked Stream Copy Audio and Video so it should be the same like before just in .avi format. But I´ll try the AviDemux.

Thanks for your help all!
