Open Directory like a DVD

Hi,
In Vlc 0.9.9 I can open a directory(VIDEO_TS) like it is a DVD so I can copy all the dvd files to my disk without creating an ISO or something.
In 1.0.0-rc1 Goldeneye I get the next message in dutch when I try this:

Afspelen mislukt:
DVDRead kon schijf "" niet openen.
Uw invoer kon niet geopend worden:
VLC kon de MRL 'dvd://' niet openen. Controleer het logboek voor details.

I don't know what this should be in Englisch
When I'm trying to open the directory above VIDEO_TS everythink looks ok, but VLC just play's the movie, before I got the dvd menu where I could select my chapters and subs just like a real DVD player does.
I Think I'm switching back to 0.9.9
However I find out some things are fixt in version 1.0.0-rc1

How do you open it?

Start Vlc
Then, Media/Map openen(Media/Open direcory in English) ctrl+F
Navigate to the path where I Copied my DVD to.
And click "OK"
