mlticast udp

Hello

I would like to make a tv from my home.
What I want to do: Use VLC as serveur UDP and multicast
It's working very well on my localnetwork
Is it possible to do it via internet.
I did not succes to configure my routeur to do it ( by fordwarding the 1234 port to my serveur )

Any help?

Almost every ISPs blocks multicast except for their own TV services.

I think there is no chance you can use multicast over the internet.
