VLC server remote.

Postby hugodu13 » 06 May 2009 12:06

Hello everybody,

Im posting here because im looking for something to change the videos channels of a playlist on a vlc TV server on ubuntu. (multicast ip tv)

I saw that there was a http interface included in vlc, but the clients have to use a web browser interface and there's not enough possibility in the web interface.
I would prefer somekind of playlist to change directly the channel of the server. (or at least a better web interface)

Is there another way to change the channel of the VLC server remotly?

(sorry for my bad english)

Why not using the web interface requests?
