marx wrapper media loaded event?

Postby enrike » 28 Apr 2009 09:22

hi

i am using this example to develop a simple video player in a windowsform,
https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.ph ... 60#p167172
i am wondering if there is some way to get an event triggered when the media has been succesfully loaded and available for use after the AddAndPlay() happens. My problem is that i want to access some properties of the media (length) and currently i have to wait few secs before this is accesible. I would like to have a method called when the media is loaded to put my code there and make sure it works fine.

thanks

looks like it hasnt been implemented hasnt it? the Marx_libvlc_events.cs does not implement the fully C++ API described here...
https://www.videolan.org/developers/vlc ... event.html

i am wondering if there is some other way. i am trying with a Timer as a workaround
