I just ran across a problem with VideoLan Client not playing my streaming MPEG-4 with a message for each frame saying... "Early picture skipped". It was weird because it previously had been working fine. My PC had beening running without a reboot for over a month and I thought that perhaps it was overflowing some time calculation that was using the time since bootup. Sure enough a reboot of my PC fixed the problem.
I don't have time to figure out what the problem is right now, but when I get around to fixing it I will report the fix here.
