Hiding the interface in fullscreen mode

Postby plokmq » 25 Mar 2009 01:53

Hi, quick question - when I'm watching a video in VLC Player and I press F to go fullscreen, an interface bar appears at the bottom and takes a few seconds to disappear. This didn't happen with the old versions!

I don't want it - I've tried looking around for a setting to turn it off and haven't found one, and I haven't had much luck with google either. Is there a simple way to disable this menu completely?

Really? It's literally the first checkbox when you open the preferences under the Interface section.

"Show Fullscreen Controller"

Ah! Thanks - I was using the advanced mode and couldn't seem to find that option there!

On the Mac side at least, it can be found under the Advanced mode at:

Interface-->Main interfaces-->macosx

I would presume other platforms would have something else written where macosx is.

Hey Guys

Maybe I am missing something... I recently lost my full screen controls, and I can't manage to get them back.

My box IS checked in the preferences for "show a controller in full screen" but I still don't have the controls in full screen.

Any ideas??
