Clamwin finds VLC's uninstall a virus?

Postby mmcspadden » 23 Mar 2009 15:09

I apologize if this is the wrong forum, it said for testers and I test VLC alot.

I contacted Clamwin about this, and I wanted to let you guys know as well. I was scanning my computer with Clamwin when it found an infection.

C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\uninstall.exe: Adware.Agent-4083 FOUND

Is it possible for this file to become infected or is this just a false positive?

False positive, VLC binaries are done on Linux.... Very unlikely.
