Quick question

Postby total » 16 Mar 2009 16:22

I've been using VLC to watch IPTV for a while now. The only thing that really bothers me is that every time I open the playlist that contains all the channels, the program automatically starts playing the first program on the playlist. Is it possible to configure VLC so that it stops doing that?

That depends how you get the program list. If it's SAP, it should never start automatically in recent versions.

It's a .m3u playlist.

A "play list" is meant to play the list. This works as intended. It's really not meant for TV broadcasts.

Well, it bothers me in general that as soon as I open any kind of a playlist it automatically starts playing. Is there perhaps a way for VLC to remember the last opened playlist?
