I'm using VLC on mac and PC's but while pc's are able to broadcast live video feed on version 0.7.2 and 0.8.1, mac's can't. Is this going to be possible on mac anytime???

Yes, you can stream but as far as I can see in VLC 0.8.1 you cannot stream from a live feed, i.e. acquired by a video card or a DV bridge card.

Live capture w/ Mac OSX
Can't capture live video w/ Mac as far as I can tell, either. It would be great to be able to stream live video using a Mac.
