VOD server with play forward and rewind

I have some question with play forward and rewind.
My test video format is MPEG-2 Transport Stream.

1. My VLC version is 0.9.8a and start VOD server with the command "new Test vod input 'test.ts' mux mp2t enabled". I can play it at VLC client with address"rtsp://192.168.70.86/Test". But I can't use fast and rewind function. Who can help me to solve it? Thank you ver much.

RTSP trick play is not yet implemented in VLC.

Has this changed?

I'm trying to use VLC 2.1.1 for VoD and I can play the file with no problem and even jump forward in the timeline. The problem is when I try to go back in timeline the client shows no video for a few minutes even when the timeline continues as if the video would be playing from the point I wanted.

Summarizing, I can PLAY and FAST FWD although I can't get REWIND to work.
