Forcing playback without waiting for the first keyframe

Forcing playback without waiting for the first keyframe

Postby NeoSyRenity » 16 Feb 2009 19:48

Hi.

Is there any option, forcing VLC to start displaying the video, even before the first key-frame has arrived?

I have a video coming with a large keyframe interval, and looking to shorten the opening time.

Thanks in advance.

It should be automatic depending on the codec, but it will be ugly anyway.

That it will be ugly I know :), but any way to do it regardless?
