compiling vlc 0.9.8a not working on windows xp

compiling vlc 0.9.8a not working on windows xp

dear all
i finished form compiling vlc -0.9.8a ok i test it on windws vista and windows 7beta every thing is fine
but when i test it on windows xp i get this error when start the vlc.exe

Code: Select all

this application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect.reistalling the application may fix this problem
plz help i need it on xp to mutch

"rm" is the unix command for deleting a file
Windows version is "del"
So rm vlc.exe.manifest means delete that file.
