edit and save a file

Postby flacosueco » 16 Jan 2009 13:49

Hi,
Please I need help with some basic stuff. I've been browsing through different tutorials but I get lost easily. I just need to know how to do the following:
I have an .avi file that I rotate and slow it down and I would like to save it as a new .avi file which keeps my rotation and playing rate. How can I do this? Also, is it possible to trim the file, that is, to have the new edited file starting and ending at some points of the primary file?
Thanks a lot.

VLC cannot save to AVI, but you can with different types, like MP4.
