All Axis Communications AB network video products included new H264 cams and coders are working well (WIN XP).

Playback - no problem, except H264 products(0.9.2/4 - only)
Streaming with Transcoding (mpeg4 ES - DIV3/H264/FLV) - some undocumented manipulations needed: 2 way of transcoding(1-ts muxing, 2-transcoding and specific muxing). H264, DIV3 - 0.8.6f only; FLV - 0.9.2 only.

There is a Problem of flash video low quality after VLC transcoding.

BlackMagic intensity pro works with dshow in VLC 1.0.0 using BlackMagic intensity drivers (1.8.4) under Windows 2003 Server R2 SP2.

We're waiting to test our intensity pro with the Linux drivers which should be soon released by BlackMagic Design

Not yet tryed it in Linux Yet but all I know is this card is supported in the Linux kernel by the dvb-usb driver.

Linux Fedora 7 and Ubuntu 7.10 you might need to download the firmware and drop it into /lib/firmware/ but if you see: http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/AVerTV_DVB-T_Volar

This driver might work might not.

Hi. i have a vlc 1.0.2 but i cant configure it on my taperecorder. I have problems with the coniguration of output modules. I try to use direkt x. I see everything perfect on pc but nothing shows on taperecorder. Only a black screen. Please anyone can help me on this. ( Another thing) i have a pinnacle installed how can i use the ports of pinnacle to auotput at my taperecorder.

The Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 950Q Doesn't seem to work well for the analog capturing of composite video.
Have not tried the TV capture yet.

I have a $79.00 Diamond One Touch VC600 USB Video Capture device working with VLC as a DVR
with uptodate WinXP Pro with 2GHz Athlon Processor. 80% processor load when streaming
to a file and displaying. 40% load when streaming to a file, no display. Some dropped
frames on difficult sequences. Bad extra scan lines show if 720x480 video size is used.
My "vlcrecord.bat" batch file for quick launch recordings follows:

I can confirm Hauppauge WinTV PVR 3000 as working within Windows 7 (32bit)

You can see the card, watch channels and stream video input.

I tested with OSPREY 440 Capture card, but the results are not good !

The capture card works fine with other Software (like Helix Producer) but when used with VLC the frame rate was very low.. (1,2) even though i selected it to a value of 25 in both device HW setting and in VLC (when transcoding)

Not sure if it helps anyone , there are gstreamer plugins for blackmagic cards @ http://mediamagictechnologies.com/products.html . This can make easy usage of blackmagic cards on Linux via gstreamer based applications

Dazzle DVC 100 - Looks decent using HD. Not as clear as my stream on jtv. Deinterlace does NOT work 100%. I still have lines all over motion. Tried VLC and Veetle direct which is vlc based.

I'm using Epiphan VGA capture card VGA2PCIe and is working fine. Just that the aspect ratio will be in correct when I display locally using directshow. No idea what happen too. I have to manually change the aspect ratio to get it right. Using Windows XP with VLC 1.1.0.

Black Magic Intensity Pro DOES NOT work with vlc at all. no video on any settings. FME is able to pull video so its either the Black Magic drivers or vlc. Please get this working. Thanks.

Tried the 1.8.4 with vlc 1.0.0 posted earlier in this thread. I get video but its choppy and unwatchable.
