PROBLEMS WITH MP3 RIPPED WITH MAX FROM SBOOTH.ORG

Postby motleygian » 09 Dec 2008 18:42

Hello,

I'm currently using the last version of VLC. Today I've found that when I play a mp3 ripped by Max (http://sbooth.org/Max/) its duration is double. I.e. a file 3 minutes long will be displayed on VLC as 6 minutes long.

Some of you know about it?

thank you

Gianluigi

What bitrate did you encode into - 320kbps CBR? I presume the MP3 encoder is LAME 3.98?

256 kbps CBR. If I encode into 320 CBR everything's fine. Yes, the encoder is LAME 3.98.
