Audio gaps between tracks

Postby ttyR2 » 06 Dec 2008 04:55

Is there a way to have VLC not insert gaps between audio tracks? Or is that a function of it not reading ahead off of an audio CD and having to spin up the CD for the next song? I have an audio CD for a childrens play and each song is broken up into three tracks for some reason. WMP playes the tracks fine, but VLC has a half second pause between tracks. I dislike WMP tremendously and would rather use VLC :-)
