troubles playing video_ts folders

Hello everybody!

I have a problem with my vlc relating video_ts folders. I know that I just can drop the complete folder into the vlc, but everytime a .vob file of this folder was played, vlc flaps down to the system bar, and flaps up again after he had started the new .vob file.
After some time this is quite annoying. But this isn't the only thing. After he had flapped up again, all the settings concerning language or subtitle are changed. Sometimes it's quite hard to get them back.

I think that i only have to change some settings, but I wasn't able to find them. Probably some of you know this problem and can tell me what to do.
