AVC pass-through to .mp4 file with converted audio?

I have .mov file with h.264 video and DVI/IMA ADPCM audio.

I want to output a .mp4 (or .mov) file with the ORIGINAL video and 44.1kHz audio converted to ACC using EXPORT WIZARD.

Tried the DUMMY video codec which one would hope would pass-through video without doing anything. But, it appears DUMMY discards the video -- even with Transcode checked.

Is there a way of getting video to pass-through and be wrapped as either .mov or .mp4 with the audio which is converted correctly?

Is there a way to specify that the ACC audio have a 48kHz sampling rate?

If not VLC -- any application that does?

i never did find a working cli line to do that as yet, and im haveing lots of problems with the newest VLC 9* anyway.

the gui keeps locking up just by trying to load a file for conversion, so i gave up on trying to get a working ms 360 mkv to mp4 HD AVC level 4.1 file with AAC 2 channel audio in a mp4 container from VLC 9.* ,but in doing so, i found http://www.avidemux.org/admWiki/index.p ... =Main_Page and it turns out it can convert your sound to AAC 2 channels and direct copy the AVC into a MP4 container, and do it fast too, perhaps your better looking at that in combination with other VLC use in this case.

OC if you can work out what lines the avidemux is using you could probably use that in vlc in some way inthe future if the developers see fit to make some 360 HD aVC/AAC 2 channel options available for batch conversions etc from a watch dir or the like.....


give avidemux a go anyway and report back if it works for you.
