telnet with a graphic interface

Postby galsammy » 18 Nov 2008 10:41

Hello,

I would like to know if there is any way to use a telnet interface with the following command on the normal graphic interface :

"vlc -i rc --rc-host localhost:9999"

By this way, you can create your playlist as normal and be able to use it by telnet .

I tried several solution by adding another interface but it does not work.

Thanks you in advance for your help

I'm not sure to understand what you want to do. Do you want to use both the telnet interface and the graphical interface ?

Yes, exactly.

For example, it will be easier to create a musical playlist with the graphical interface and to be able to control it by the telnet command.

Thanks you
