telnet 0.9.6 windows vista

I needed to do a mosaic view so i gave it try.

I downloaded latest version 0.9.6 and started trying. First by trying this http://wiki.videolan.org/Mosaic . Fail

First starting vlc with

vlc -I telnet

from command line does not work.
Starting normally vlc and trying to add telnet interface also does not work.

Trying to connect with putty does not work. From linux console the same at least there I see this

When i got that cleared i started looking for another way to add vlm commands. Loading from .conf also didn't worked, but now is OK so i started http interface. Creating mosaic from the wizard was easy, but was crashing VLC like hell. One time it works next time crash. Until i went to video settings and changed output from default to directx video output. That made things better, but changes vista scheme to basic, but thats normal.

Telnet is broken on Windows Vista. Try to use luatelnet... Search this forum to do so.
