Video - file size limitations

Are there any limitations on the size of the video file? I have some AVI DV files up to 4GB and want to play them and VLC crashes. Under 2GB they play.

Yes currently we have a problem with such large files.
It's proving to be very difficult to find the cause of the crash...
Don't use PMs for support questions.

This problem will be fixed in 0.8.1 to be released very shortly.
