How do I change the background color to black?

Postby Guest » 31 Dec 2003 21:25

The color that fills out parts of the window or fullscreen without video is a sort of dark wine-red color. How do I change this to black?

Is it really supposed to be like this?

Thanks for an otherwise excellent program, good thinking!

I'm using VLC 0.6.2 with W2K and DirectX 9.1.

Well, it should be black...

Have you tried with a more recent built ? (0.7.0-test3)

No, i can't seem to find a win32 binary. I guess I'll just wait for 0.7.0 final for now. I wish a had a second system so i could try some other OS.

I'm only having trouble with an .ogm that runs fine in VLC, but choppy with BSPlayer, and G-Spot just exits without reporting a codec. Maybe it's some new XviD thing. I haven't had the time to re-boot to install a newer version of the codec.

Thanks for the reply, appreciated.

Ah, nice, i didn't have to re-boot to install the newer codec after all. The .ogm works fine in BSPlayer now. =)
