Shoutcast radio song titles

Has anyone else noticed that Shoutcast Radio song titles aren't updated in the title area when the song changes?
Is this a known issue?

In the hope that he following information may assist in the resolution......

Environment
I am a long time user of VLC, and have just moved from v. 0.8.6i to v. 0.9.4 (I have not tried any versions in between). I am running XP Pro SP3, and FireFox 3.0.3.

Test 1
I invoke VLC with
VLC.exe --extraintf http http://213.251.173.211:9512
and the web interface with
http://127.0.0.1:8080/

Issue 1 – the main VLC window
Typically VLC does not display the track details in the main window, though it does correctly display the stream title (http://WWW.RADIO66.BE).
*Sometimes* (but not always), when I hit the Pause/Play button, the main window does update to show the track information, but this display is not then updated when the track subsequently changes.

Issue 2 – the Media Information/General window
This window correctly shows the Title, Genre and Location, but does not show “Now Playing”, *even when I've managed to get this information into the main window* (as described above).

Issue 3 – the Web Interface
This window correctly shows the following:
playing time & audio volume in the main panel
the Stream Title in the main panel
the Stream Title in the Playlist panel
the “Stream 0” information in the “Stream and Media Information” panel
but it does *not* show
any Meta Information
*even when I've managed to get this information into the main window* (as described above).

Test 2
I have a “Blues.m3u” playlist, the first three lines of which read:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:0,WWW.RADIO66.BE
http://213.251.173.211:9512
and I invoke VLC with
VLC.exe --extraintf http Blues.m3u

Issue 4 – the Web Interface
This playlist plays correctly in VLC (though still with the issues described above).

However, in the Web Interface window
The following information appears correctly:
playing time & audio volume in the main panel
the “Stream 0” information in the “Stream and Media Information” panel
but the following does *not* appear correctly:
the Stream Title in the main panel [this appears as (?)]
the Stream Title in the Playlist panel [this appears as (?)]
no Meta Information is shown

NOTES
1)VLC ver 0.9.4 behaves in the same way with other ShoutCast audio streams, so the problem is not unique to http://www.radio66.be.

2)When I ran the above tests, I was also concurrently running VLC ver. 0.8.6i on a separate PC (using identical versions of XP and of FireFox). This older version of VLC, and the Web Interface, worked correctly at all times, so I have no reason to believe that the meta information was not being correctly transmitted.

Any update as to whether this will fixed? Is there a technical roadblock or a perceived lack of demand? Could someone point me to the applicable areas in the code so I could try to take a look?

Yes, try VLC 1.0.0-devel versions, where this is fixed.
