0.9.4 issues on PPC

I've dowloaded both ppc and mactel versions of the 0.9.4.
Tried the ppc version on a dual G5 PowerMac and it's fine. Expecially playing wmv it seems to be more performing jumping forward and backward.
On my PowerBook G4 it's not performing well at all. Audio goes out of sync. Video starts almost with large blocks and jumping forward is realy a pain: I notice audio but the video remains on the previous frame from which i jumped from.
I've deleted all the preferences but the did not help.
Is this an already known issue?

I have the exact same problem; except on a PC. Version 0.8.6 works fine; but with 0.94 video and audio are out off sync most of the time
