change fullscreen resolution

has vlc a option to setup the fullscreen resolution?
google gives no answer.

media player classic per example has a option "change fullscreen resolution".

No. Anyway, the player will scale the video to the screen resolution, and you can change the aspect ratio and/or crop if you need/want to.

thanks for answer.
but this is not what i mean.
example: my (windows )desktop resolution is 720p. if i start a video in vlc and select fullscreen, i want vlc to change the output resolution to 1080.
