Display the current track title on an audio stream

Postby mickrussom » 07 Oct 2008 21:37

Right now, I'm listening to "trance.pls" from di.fm:

http://www.di.fm/mp3/trance.pls

The stream plays great (0.9.2, 0.9.4) , but I cant see the current track-title, what is displayed in the status bar at the bottom is:
"D I G I T A L L Y - I M P O R T E D - European Trance, Techno, Hi-NRG... we can't define it!"

I want:
"CURRENT TRACK TITLE" - " D I G I T A L L Y - I M P O R T E D - European Trance, Techno, Hi-NRG... we can't define it! "

The visualizations will flash the track title up then fade out (another thing I would like to keep from fading out).

Also in the playlist, right clicking on the stream will have the right track title in "Now Playing"
e.g.
"DJ Shah and Pedro Del Mar present - Mellomania USA October 2008"

Does anyone know how to accomplish this ?

Broken on Windows for 0.9 branch. Use 0.8 or wait for a fix....

1.0.0-git Goldeneye seems to show the correct "Now Playing" on streams, cheers.
