Subtitle overlap problems with .OGM and .MKV files

Postby Button_Pushin_Cowboy » 29 Oct 2004 06:33

Hi there,

I have a problem that I hope someone will recognize. Whenever I play and .OGM or .MKV file with subtitles the subtitles, instead of making neat readable lines, wrap around the screen and cover each other making them very hard to read. :) Is this a problem with the encode of the file or something different all together? Thanks for any help you can give. Other than this problem VLC is great!

Sorry I forgot to add that I am running Mac OS 10.2.8 and have VLC 0.7.2

Thanks!

SVN is the system in which the current (in development) sourcecode of VLC is maintained.

It's also the name of any build that is based on those current sources.
Don't use PMs for support questions.

So then there is nothing that we can do to fix this problem, and we will just have to hold our breath until the next release?
