Help with 0.9.3

Any help out their for skinning,have selected a few skins and put in skins file,selected options then selected skins then browse ,go to skins folder click on only font seen,so put vlt files in documents selected file,but gz file could not be seen,saved in options,then opened Vlc,clicked control-s selected same file as in options,but still no joy,plus having crashes on start,with Windows de-bug coming up,all this on XP SP3,any help out their,please.

I meant, do you have image that shows this issue? Because I really don't understand what you are trying to say.

Thanks for reply VLC_help,well up to now moment ,I fully uninstall' ed and installed 0.9.2,which corrected crashing,then in skin folder installed the full skin pack,then opened preferences ,selected skin,WMP.11,checked skin box,click save,started up and a simple black framed skin is showing,press control+s ,get skin box ,check WMP.11,but nothing happens,so restarted,opened preferences,and in skin box is C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\\skins\default.vlt,try again still no joy.I have been using VLC for a few years,and this is the first time tried to reskin,and never had any problems previously ,so hope you can be of help,Bye.

Adding new Skins and implementing Skins has been problematic in 0.9.2 with Vista x64 causing some crashes, and most are just plainly not presenting even good user friendly interfaces and could even lead to a reinstall. I'm sticking with default.
