Thank you for your prompt reply
but i could open vlc://quit
I tried command prompt, browser and run
i also tried it from console interface of VLC (with and without "allow only one running instance" option).
please tell me how to open.

when i open task manager and kill vlc.exe, the web interface gets closed. but i am sure there is a proper way.

using GUI there is no problem, when i close vlc the web interface also gets closed. but when i invoke vlc -I http, i dont know how to terminate it.
Thank you very much

make playlist that has vlc://quit as the only entry and open it. Or add it via MRL.
