I don't really understand what you mean. You have decklink card but you don't want to use it?

Or you want the output via that card?
http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/sd/
When not being used for video capture and playback, DeckLink cards default to a fully featured desktop display which outputs as video. Using the DeckLink SDI video output, you can send any application window to the video output.
So fullscreen VLC window should work. VLC doesn't do directshow chain so
On Windows™, DeckLink supports DirectShow™ for compatibility with most video software.
won't work with VLC.

I haven't use device like that, but according to manual (page 7)
http://www.blackmagic-design.com/downlo ... manual.pdf

there should be another desktop where you can drag the VLC video window and force it to full screen by pressing f. You can also automate this by disabling embedded video, then using DirectX video output and forcing it to second monitor and to full screen.

The ideea behind that is that the Decklink SDI card does not create another output device in monitors (even if you have something connected to SDI out). I mean that it doesn't work like a videocard with TV out, and you can use "clone" or "extend to TV". Decklink SDi just doesn't work like this. I understand that Decklink Studio has this option, but Decklink SDi doesn't
I hope I understood it right.
