Play Streaming RM

When I read that VLC supports RM files and much better streaming, I was hoping it would play streaming RM files from PBS. Ideally it would be able to save them as well, but lets not get picky now.

There is ample sample videos freely available from PBS here.

If this is not doable, VLC telling me to screw off would be good. It just keeps on moving the "waiting" bar without doing anything.

VLC does not support the audio or video format "RV40"
VLC doesn't include native support for RV40, so playback isn't possible.
