very slow on PPC Mac

Hello

the new 0.9.2 version of VLC is very slow on a G4 PPC. even playing low quality divx video plays very choppy, it bogs the hole system down, i had to move back to 0.8.6I to be-able watch any video.

We ehm, kinda ehm, had altivec optimizations disabled by accident

So would 0.9.3 then solve my problem with bad HD playback performance compared to MPlayer?

ok, so I stupidly trashed my older version of vlc after installing - but not testing - 0.9.2... so, i'd like to find the previous version, but it seems to be unavailable... any help appreciated.. ASAP HELP!!

Problem wat that Altivec was broken in ffmpeg for a month or 2. When it was fixed we simply forgot to reenable. Thanks for the words.
