Postby sanriver12 » 18 Sep 2008 22:14

I tried watching the files from
http://www.leadcodecs.com/Download/H264-Videos.htm
but i only get sound, no video at all.
vlc is supposed to support this format, doesnt it?

Those files have fourcc `L264' which VLC doesn't decode properly even with fourCC trick. They are made with Leadtools h264.

I opened trac ticket for L264 fourcc and decoding support
http://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/2091

Well, even while forcing L264 codec, it doesn't decode those, because they are not H264 compliant.
