Forcing audio delay

Postby anupam.tech1 » 17 Sep 2008 17:17

friends

i have some movies (in vob,avi format ) .. the problem with the video is that the audio is listened after some time in the movie from the time it was actually spoken .. for eg -- if the hero says "hi " then it heard after a long time when in the video he is talking else( i am gettin used to lip reading  )

i wonder if ther is setting in vlc player ( in audio or video filter in particular ) which could help me put a amount of time delay in either video or audio to correct the difference

at present i m solving it by playing two player simultaneously with a start delay of 3 sec between them so that the audio and video in the movie match each other.

Check the hotkeys in the preferences, we have some to delay audio and subtitles (compared to video).
And please don't use all caps in the topic (I've edited it).
